Tarp Skunks Are Back — And They're Starting With a Bang
Summer in Jamestown officially has a start date: Friday, May 29 at 6:30 PM, when the Tarp Skunks open their sixth season at home against the Olean Oilers.
And they're not easing into it. Before the first pitch, fans can enjoy a free tailgate festival right outside the park: live music from the Porcelain Bus Drivers, a food truck, and a bounce house for the kids. Once the game wraps, the sky lights up with a fireworks show. It's basically a whole summer night packed into one Friday.
Single game tickets go on sale Monday, May 11, starting at $5. Season ticket packages start at $103.

Then Mark Your Calendar for June 2: $2 Night
Just a few days after the opener, the Skunks bring back one of the most popular nights on the schedule — $2 Night. Bleacher tickets, beer, and hot dogs, all just two dollars.
PRO TIP: if you want a chill time head over to the games when there aren't big promotions. $2 nights draw a little bit, but are still chill and CHEAP which is great. If you want the more energetic experience head to opening night or one of the other big promotional nights that involve fireworks.
$2 Night returns three times this summer: June 2, July 7, and July 21. The July 7 date is also a Community Buyout Night, meaning all tickets are free on top of the $2 specials — sponsored by Cattaraugus Community Bank.

A Few More Things Worth Knowing:
Kids: The Whiffy Fund means any kid wearing their youth baseball or softball jersey gets free admission — no ticket needed. The Tarp Skunks Kids Club is also back at $15 for the season (available through June 5), and includes a free t-shirt, drawstring bag, 10% off at the team store, an ice cream social with Whiffy, and a free ticket to every Friday night home game.
Five Community Buyout Nights are on the schedule too — June 18, June 25, July 7, July 10, and July 12 — all free to the public. June 18 is First Responder and Medical Healthcare Professionals Night, honoring local first responders and healthcare workers in partnership with Live CHQ.
Fireworks return twice more after Opening Night: July 3 at 7:00 PM and July 25 at 6:30 PM.
